Tapas, the general name for small dishes of food that are served to be shared in Spain is tapas. They can vary from a simple bowl of olives or nuts, to a plate of grilled meat or fish. In this two part series we will recreate some of the most popular tapas from several regions in Spain, like Sevilla, Barcelona and Madrid.
Menu:
Gazpacho, a chilled tomato soup, so refreshing in the hot Spanish sun (or during August in MN!).
Bocadillos, many variations on the theme of what is essentially a sandwich, ours will have jamon serrano (cured Spanish ham), tomato and manchego cheese.
Churros with Chocolate Sauce, made from choux pastry, you'll learn how to make these fried elongated donuts at home and serve with scratch chocolate sauce.
