The Taylor 9867 is no ordinary thermocouple. With a range of -40/572 degrees F or -40/300 degrees C, this hearty probe can handle any of your temperature-taking requirements. More importantly, your readings will stabilize within 5 seconds or less, allowing you to keep up with the rapid pace of your kitchen. The thermometer has a convenient HOLD button allowing you to FREEZE a temperature even when the probe is removed and it also reads temperatures in Fahrenheit and Celsius. Its professional-grade accuracy of +/- 2 degrees F between 14-212 degrees F means you'll never be left second-guessing whether your meal is fully cooked. Should the thermometer take a tumble, reset the calibration in an ice slurry. Ensure safe and well-cooked results every time. The 9867 employs a 1.5mm step down folding probe that protects the vital componentry while the device is not in use and makes the thermometer easier to store. It has a shell of antimicrobial plastic that inhibits the growth of bacteria (yellow and black versions only). With a generous 0.6" blue backlit readout, you will never have to strain to see your measurements. The device is also recalibratable with a 0.1 degree resolution. Inside the box, you will find the 9867 thermometer, an instruction manual and 2 AAA batteries.
