Piedras de Chocolate are small, chocolate-covered almonds from Spain, named for their “stone” appearance. They are made with toasted Largueta almonds (a Spanish variety longer and flatter than California almonds), rich 75% chocolate, and a dusting of cocoa powder.
These “rocks” have a velvety, crunchy texture with a sweet, nutty almond flavor balanced by the richness of the chocolate. The cocoa dust adds a subtle chocolate finish, making them both indulgent and satisfying.
