This Korintje Cinnamon is similar to the cinnamon sold in grocery stores, but is higher in quality. It can be used in any recipe calling for cinnamon. Technically this product is not cinnamon, it's cassia. In fact, almost everything labeled "cinnamon" in the United States is cassia and few Americans have tasted the "true" Ceylon cinnamon. Cassia is a close relative to Ceylon cinnamon, but it has a more pungent aroma, darker in color and stronger flavor.
