Ayurveda is an ancient form of medicine that focuses on each individual’s unique elemental constitution of air, ether, fire, water, and earth within their body. The 5000-year-old texts are still relevant and used today because this system of medicine works. The best part about it is you can incorporate Ayurvedic medicine in your food to impart long-lasting change on your personal health!
In this unique cooking class, you will take an Ayurvedic test that assesses your unique elemental composition, which will determine what spices, herbs, and vegetables you put into the main dish, Kitchari. This healing, warm meal is used to heal illness, support you through stressful experiences, and overall bring your body back into balance.
You will leave class with medicinal cooking wisdom to care for others and yourself in an effective and powerful way. If you are or have been feeling fatigued, anxious, heavy, or foggy-headed this is the class for you.
