Pasta and bread are two of the most popular carbs to consume with Southern Italian cuisine due to the fantastic assortment of specialized cheeses and heritage ingredients. To honor their unique cuisine, we will be making two classic pasta dishes and one pizza to highlight Southern Italian vegetables and cheese.
Menu:
Orecchiette con Cime di Rapa, features olive oil, garlic, chiles, anchovies, bitter greens, and toasted breadcrumbs
Pasta alla Norma, a delicious Sicilian pasta dish with eggplant, marinara and basil
Pizza Margherita, fresh mozzarella and basil on a tossed pizza crust
Class price includes one glass of wine, beer, or non-alcoholic beverage. Generous sampling of everything prepared and printed recipe copy included.
