In this cooking class, you will explore the essential flavors of Thai cuisine. Through a curated menu of traditional and approachable dishes, participants will build familiarity with essential Thai ingredients like lemongrass, coconut milk, fish sauce, Thai chilies, and fresh herbs.
Thai cuisine is all about contrast and balance. This course teaches students how to build dishes that are bright, bold, and layered with flavor by carefully combining sweet, sour, salty, and spicy flavors.
Menu includes:
Tom Yum Soup (aka Thai Hot and Sour Soup with Shrimp and Noodles)
Thai Red Curry Vegetables
Thai Meatballs with Sweet Chili Dipping Sauce
Thai Coconut Rice with red pepper flakes and ginger
Coconut Ice Cream
Class price includes generous sampling of everything prepared, a glass of wine, beer or non-alcoholic beverage, and printed recipe copies.
