Developed by two of the most prolific chef icons of France, Marie-Antoine Careme and Auguste Escoffier, as the primary bases for hundreds of sauces and soups used all over the world today! From these mother sauces, you can make mayonnaise, marinara, alfredo, bolognese, and many more variations. Sit back, relax and ask as many questions as you like, the secret (sauce) is out!
Come learn about these five life-changing sauces and how to modify them into your favorite sauces and soups. We will be sampling them all at the end of class with fresh baked sourdough bread and/or fresh pasta and having a Q&A session for anything else you might want to know about.
