Tapas: The general name for small dishes of food that are served to be shared in Spain is Tapas. They can vary from a bowl of olives to a plate of grilled prawns. In this three part series we will recreate some of the most popular Tapas from 3 regions of Spain: Sevilla, Barcelona and Madrid. In every class you'll be eating generous samples of 4-6 types of tapas plus something sweet to end the meal.
January 3rd Part One - Sevilla is known for having over 4,000 tapas bars! In this first of a 3-part series we will focus on a few of the most widely known and shared small plates.
January 10th Part Two - Barcelona is a Catalonian gastronomical experience full of fresh food markets and top chefs. The ever evolving food scene is not ignorant to one of the top rated foodie cities in Europe. In this second series we will explore several traditional tapas.
January 17th Part Three Madrid - A city close to my heart, full of culture and beauty offers some of the most flavorful and memorable Tapas. This third and final of the 3-part Tapas series we focus on fish, fried and fritters.
