Aye, yai, yai! You won’t find cumin-soaked ground beef and hard shell tacos topped with iceberg and cheddar here. No way! Let’s make it a fiesta and put a few new recipes on our menu.
In this hands-on class Chef Jessica Tijerina will take us on a Mexican culinary adventure. We will make Guacamole and Pico de Gallo to start. Then, Flautas and Taquitos. What’s the difference? A flauta is with a flour tortilla and a taquito is with a corn tortilla. That simple. We will get real messy and enjoy a Queso Fundido with Chorizo and Oaxacan Cheese. To end on a sweet note and to enjoy a beverage with our snacks, we will make a Mango Coconut Chile Lime Bebida. Ooh delicious!
We'll sit down for a sample of everything prepared as the class finishes. Class price includes a glass of wine, beer, or non-alcoholic beverage. Everyone will go home with printed recipes.
