Want to learn the basics of baking bread? What is a biga? Curious about proofing? Asking yourself if your kneading technique needs attention? Join us as we demonstrate how to create artisan bread in your kitchen. Menu will include Chelsea Rolls, White Yeast Bread, Foccacia, and White Chocolate Raspberry Scones. Techniques learned in class will include proofing yeast; kneading bread; shaping rolls; choosing proper equipment and ingredients.
Class price includes generous sampling of everything prepared, printed recipes, and one glass of wine, beer or non-alcoholic beverage. Students will work in groups of 2-4 making a loaf of bread to be shared.
