After living in Ireland for a three months Becki can set a wonderful afternoon tea spread and she's going to show you how, too! In this hands-on cooking class we'll enjoy a lesson on the technique of baking scones and how to prepare the proper cup of tea.
In class we'll prepare two types of scone. One, a proper, buttery scone that's soft and fluffy on the inside and crispy on the outside. Our scones will be split and filled with clotted cream and jam. Then, a more modern scone, an Orange Butter Scone that is rolled jelly-roll style.
You'll be sure to learn many tips and techniques along the way. We will enjoy a cup of tea and scone at the end of class.
