In this fun and hands-on cooking class we'll be doing traditional Irish Fish & Chips.
We'll beer-batter cod with Becki's recipe she learned in Ireland at the Ballymaloe Cookery School. We'll hand-cut chips, otherwise known as fries, here in the States. The chips will be deep-fried in rendered beef fat - delicious! We'll also show you how to oven roast chips, if you want a lighter option. Those chips will be served with garlic aioli, which you'll make from scratch! We'll round out the menu and add some green with mushy peas.
You'll have loads of craic, that's Irish for FUN, in this class. Class includes generous sampling of every dish. Class price includes one glass of wine, beer, or non-alcholic beverage. Everyone will go home with printed recipes.
