Looking like a professional in the kitchen is easy to do! No culinary school or 2 hour long recipes here, in this class you'll learn how to make an elegant dinner with super simple recipes.

We will be making a fig and goat cheese crostini. Crostini are baguettes, thinly sliced and toasted, then topped with the sweet/salty combination of fig and goat cheese - it's delicious!

Our main dishes include an Oven-Baked Lemon Caper Salmon and Pork Tenderloin with a Russian Cheese Sauce - something for everyone! Dessert features Creme Brûlée with Fruit Compote.

Class price includes printed recipe packet, generous sampling of everything prepared, and one glass of wine, beer or non-alcoholic beverage.

Class Instructor: Alyssa Wallenta - Alyssa works at the Abundant Kitchen and is a senior at Buffalo High School. Simple Delicious! (and Elegant!)

Posted by Dennis Wallenta on Jan 28th 2019

(Submitted by Julie) This class was delicious! Not only did I learn how to make some flavorful, fancy meals that also are "now" very simple to create, I learned some cooking tips, too, that I know I will use over and over again. I also enjoyed using tools I don’t have at home that are now going on my must-have list. The class recipes have already been placed with my “do-over” recipes, sure to become standards for my family. I was impressed with the Alyssa’s (the class chef) preparation, knowledge, skill and ability to lead an entire class in creating a "Simply Elegant" meal!
