We will be making a fig and goat cheese crostini. Crostini are baguettes, thinly sliced and toasted, then topped with the sweet/salty combination of fig and goat cheese - it's delicious!
Our main dishes include an Oven-Baked Lemon Caper Salmon and Pork Tenderloin with a Russian Cheese Sauce - something for everyone! Dessert features Creme Brûlée with Fruit Compote.
Class price includes printed recipe packet, generous sampling of everything prepared, and one glass of wine, beer or non-alcoholic beverage.
Class Instructor: Alyssa Wallenta - Alyssa works at the Abundant Kitchen and is a senior at Buffalo High School. She has been a home chef since 12 years old and is passionate about food and nutrition. She has catered graduation parties, birthdays and baked wedding cakes. She has worked at the Abundant Kitchen for a little over a year now. You may recognize her from various past cooking classes.
