Teenagers unite! In this one night bootcamp teenagers will spend an evening preparing a scrumptious steakhouse meal.
Our Steakhouse feast is based on fresh produce, fresh seasonings, fine meats and something sweet.
Perfectly Cooked Ribeye Steaks with Fresh Herb Sauce; Rosemary Potatoes; Chop Salad with Herb Vinaigrette; Garlic Bread; Macerated Strawberries with Whipped Mascarpone and Crushed Meringue.
Skills Covered in Class Include: Getting Familiar with Seasonal Ingredients; Selecting and Grilling Red Meat; Determining Meat Doneness; Working with Spices and Fresh Herbs; Carving Meat; Making Fresh Herb Sauces; Selecting and Roasting Potatoes and Green Vegetables; Macerating Fruit; Whipping Cream.
Due to the layout of our kitchen and in consideration of your classmates, students will work in groups of 3 to 5 people.
Students will eat a full meal of everything prepared in class. Clean-up will be part of this learning experience. Geared towards ages 12-16 years of age.
