Join Peter Chehadeh, local maker of GRLK sauce, in the kitchen for a night of fun, learning, and laughter!
GRLK is a garlic-based spread, similar to a hummus, with big flavor and uses only the best ingredients. GRLK can be used in many different ways. As a vegetable dip, marinade, sandwich spread, or condiment. In this cooking class we'll be using Peter's hand-crafted GRLK spread to cook Lebanese recipes handed down from his “taita” (Lebanese grandma).
Peter will show us how to make Chicken Shish Tawook, a traditional marinated chicken shish kebab that cooks perfectly on the grill. He'll share his favorite flavorful Lebanese Rice recipe, a White Bean Hummus dip, a simple Flatbread, and we'll end the meal with a little sweet indulgence, Date Sesame Rolls.
At the end of class, we'll sit down together for a generous sampling of every dish. Every participant will go home with printed recipes.
Class price includes one glass of beer, wine or non-alcoholic beverage.
