In this hands-on class we'll be learning several types of cookies that are more elegant than your regular cookies!
We'll learn Becki's tried and true No Fail Meringues in two flavors, Rosewater Meringue and Chocolate Pistachio Meringue. We'll learn how to make Gluten Free Almond Macaroons - a very elegant cookie! In the class we'll make marzipan, a ground almond paste, and stuff dates and walnuts then coat them with hard-crack caramel sauce. You'll learn how to make Digestive Cookies - a favorite in Ireland - a large roll-out cookie full of healthy oats. And, lastly, the classic crisp Shortbread - one cookie flavored with Rosemary and the other Java Chip.
Coffee, Tea, and, of course, cookies will be served! Everyone will be able to take a sampling of each style cookie home.
